Je n’allais pas vous parler d’Hawaii sans vous parler de « Lost » puisque la majeure partie de la série a été tournée sur l’ile d’Oahu. Voici une petite sélection de lieux de tournages. You know I’m a fan of « Lost » so of course I wasn’t going to talk about Hawaii without mentioning shooting locations since the major part of the show was shot on Oahu. Here’s a small selection. If you want more, check out the website « Virtual Lost » (click on location names below to reach it).

Hier je suis allée à un apéro à l’hôtel Opéra Diamond, une ancienne maison de joie qui a été transformée en hôtel 4 étoiles je vous rassure. J’ai pu profiter d’un petit jardin, surveillé par un crocodile noir et un bar très glitz. J’ai networké cela va sans dire. Il y a des gens qui travaillent…un verre à la main.
J’ai poursuivi aujourd’hui du côté de Gambetta avec une réunion d’analyse du concept marketing de Jamespot par le cabinet de conseil WSA et moi et moi et moi. Ma conclusion ? Ce site mérite une mascotte ! J’ai songé à un majordome et à un beau slogan « Le monde à la portée d’un spot ». C’est pas beau ça ? J’ajouterai que je ne sais pas où ils se procurent leurs sandwichs chez WSA, mais ils sont rudement bons. Allez, je reviendrai comme consultante spéciale. Mettez vos ceintures !
Yesterday I went to an apero at the Opéra Diamond, formerly a house of joy, but now a four-star hotel with a crocodilesque patio garden and a very glitzy bar lounge. I went there to network and network I did.
Today I went to a marketing brainstorming about the social networking site Jamespot in the offices of WSA, a consulting firm. I came up with some ideas, like a butler mascot and a great catch phrase : « Le monde à la portée d’un spot ». Great, innit? And may I mention their sandwiches!? Wicked good. I’ll be back. As a special consultant. Bet’cha.
